Established in 2004

A good proportion of our core business is providing gateway and independent project reviews; over the last 15 years the company’s Directors have delivered over 100 reviews for 15 separate organisations including the Scottish Government, Welsh Assembly, Highland Council, Highlands and islands Enterprise, Transport Scotland and many other public agencies.

We pride ourselves on providing professional, supportive, direct and concise services.  We are a small company with only 2 employees and a cadre of like-minded associates that we can draft in as required, with complementary skills.  Our size enables us to deliver very cost effective support, flexibility, responsiveness and a solution to suit your model…not ours !

Alasdair Lawton

Alasdair is an experienced chartered accountant and Prince2 practitioner, confident in the management of multi-skilled teams of over 100 staff. He is experienced in Statutory reporting, Project and Change Management, has strong system implementation skills and is accomplished in the preparation of financial appraisal and investigative reports.  Alasdair has led over 90 Gateway reviews and has supported the delivery of 15 other reviews as a review team member. Just to fill in those other quiet moments Alasdair is also a member of the Handsonevents and Strathpuffer event teams that deliver cycle events each year attended by over 2000 competitors and is a member of Torridon Mountain Rescue Team

Alasdair has recently completed an 8 year tenure on the board of NHS Highlands where he chaired the Finance Committee, the Staff Governance Committee and the Asset Management Group

Linda Lawton

Linda is a strategic HR leader bringing experience in the areas of life sciences, food and drink, autoparts and the third sector. She has a strong commercial focus, having started her career in finance, before transferring to all things people, working as a key member on leadership teams. She has a breadth of experience working as a valued partner developing and leading HR strategy, OD, employee engagement and communications, change, ER, TUPE transfers, reward and recruitment.
